DYNAMIC BY DESIGN
Our design inspiration for the Cleer NEXT audiophile headphone was driven by a singular idea: headphones that evoke the feelings of a favorite timepiece. Every design decision was influenced by a desire to create a product that would be considered delightfully exquisite, intimately personal and intended for decades of enjoyment--with zero compromise in performance, durability or comfort.
IRONLESS DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
Surpassing conventional soft-iron, single magnet designs, the NEXT audiophile headphone employ a patented Ironless motor assembly paired with a proprietary magnesium diaphragm for an emotional listening experience.
ALLOY CONSTRUCTION
6061-T6 aluminum was chosen for its light weight, high-strength, and workability, in this case resulting in an eye-catching design that’s equally as comfortable.
OPEN BACK DESIGN
The open-back design provides two immediate benefits: natural, spacious, sound reproduction devoid of coloration, and improved transient response-the headphone’s ability to respond to sudden changes within the waveform.
Lambskin Earpads
Especially shaped to surround the ear and hug the contours of the head, memory foam earpads deliver a superb wearing experience with the added benefit of enhanced acoustic performance.

I did not expect these to be this good! Audiophile performance and a price point that’s phenomenally affordable.

If you remember nothing else about my comments, remember just these two words….FLY FART!….I’ve been on a journey down the proverbial rabbit hole into the world of high-end audio equipment for a while. My sub journey regarding headphones began, like many, by Googling “best audiophile headphones”. The standard names appear such as Grado, Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic. I reached out on a Facebook forum to get an opinion on Grado vs. Sennheiser on which one would provide me the best “warm” 70’s sound as my loudspeakers are a set of Acoustic Research AR3a’s and I was looking for a set of cans that could come close to replicating that sound. As responses to my questions began to come in, there was a response from Scott (the rep from Cleer) who politely said hey, give us a try and if your not happy, return them. I did a little research on Scott and the company and very much liked what I saw. A U.S. company led by what appears to be a down to earth, patriotic family driven people. So I decided based on that to give them a try. I was surprised at the quality and comfort (built like a brick shithouse that I could wear all day) but the real surprise was that the sound was exactly what I was looking for (once I made some hardware adjustments for low impedance input). Crisp clear but not overly bright mids and highs (so clear that I could hear a FLY FART) and smooth deep low end bass. I have listened to the “top” cans as recommend by Google and many audiophiliac’s…..Cleer clearly should be listed along side the big known names. They are worth every penny and I believe they have the substance to stand behind their product.
